Beside his profession as a graphic designer, Kiyoshi Awazu has been working in relation with vast fields in culture such as theatre, cinema, art, literature, and architecture. Using sometimes unique figurative images and sometimes expressive lines which reminds of lines of fingerprints, Awazu's works has covered throughout the city and throughout wide range of media.
In this exhibition, about 20 works are to be shown including 'negative-positive series' in which Awazu created plates from original drawings, and wood-cut 'Hanafuda-so' series. Please rediscover the inspirational originality of Awazu's ideas.
