Flow of Water
The art installation captures the global water cycle—from the seas of Yokohama to the clouds and rain—through twelve glass sculptures. The number ‘12’, as represented by the months of the year, plays a significant role in the celestial and earthly realms of life and is pivotal in various aspects of human civilization, including Feng Shui, religion, philosophy, and mathematics.
Each sculpture represents various forms of water. During the day, sunlight casts shadows and reflections, while at night, lighting transforms the space into a 'Garden of Light,' a creation from the gathering of waters.
