Face of a World City Represented by the World’s Leading Artists

Shenzhen, a former fishing village with a population of 30,000, became China's first special economic zone in 1980, and is now called the “Silicon Valley of China”. Together with Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, Shenzhen is one of the four largest cities in mainland China. The art project of the MixC is designed to represent a 'Globally Growing City' which is growing day by day, where people directly relate to the world by the works of active leading overseas artists from 5 countries.
